The Toto table lamp from Ingo Maurer’s I Ricchi Poveri collection is a delightfully playful creation that’s guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. The playful lamp charms especially with its whimsical ears that give Toto a characterful, poetic appearance, and more than a passing resemblance to a certain beloved cartoon figure!

The Toto table lamp is equipped with the Ambient bulb, developed by Ingo Maurer in 2022 as a modern, soft-glowing and dimmable alternative to the traditional halogen lamp. The luminaire is a warm and atmospheric companion for a side table, desk, nightstand or any space that could use a touch of character and a glow of gentle light.

Ingo Maurer

German designer Ingo Maurer (1932–2019) is best known for his imaginative and poetic lighting designs. With a background in graphic design, Maurer founded his own studio in Munich in 1966 and went on to create many iconic lamps that blend playful lightness, craftsmanship and technical innovation. His work has been featured in international design exhibitions as well as in homes and public spaces around the world. For Mayrer, light was never just a functional tool – it is a feeling, a moment, and an experience.
