Description

Marimekko’s All Day bucket shoulder bag is adorned with Maija Isola’s iconic floral print in an elegant dark tone. Made from recycled polyester, the bag features a zipper closure and an adjustable shoulder strap that allows you to wear it on the shoulder or across the body, depending on your preference. Inside, the bucket shoulder bag has three compartments, while the back includes an open pocket that closes with a magnetic snap. A leather Marimekko keychain is attached to the front of the All Day Bucket bag.

The Unikko pattern came about in 1964 after Armi Ratia, the founder of Marimekko, had announced in public that no floral fabrics are designed at Marimekko. Maija Isola did not accept rules or restrictions and designed in protest a complete collection of bold floral patterns: Unikko, a Finnish word that means poppy. Today, Unikko is one of Marimekko's best-known patterns and is recognized worldwide.
