Description

The Kiruna mortar by Crushgrind blends Scandic minimalism with exceptional functionality. Made from cast iron, the elegant mortar not only boasts a striking, robust appearance but also provides the perfect surface for crushing and grinding different spices, herbs and seeds. Thanks to its non-porous material, aromas won’t be absorbed into the surface, ensuring that you can use the Kiruna mortar for a variety of ingredients without worrying about flavor transfer. The Kiruna mortar features a silicone base that keeps it securely in place during use and an acacia wood pestle that makes grinding spices effortless.

He is known for his inquisitive and artistic approach to product development, with an interest in sustainable materials and manufacturing processes. His work focuses on transforming digital designs into kitchenware products. In 2023, Murley received the Silver A' Design Award for his Billund spice grinder, which he designed for CrushGrind.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

  • Level 2: Free shipping for orders over 129 €
  • Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over 99 €

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.

  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).
