Description

HAY’s Compass pendant light, created by Belgian designer Julien Renault, combines minimalist elegance with everyday versatility. Its classic conical shade works beautifully on its own, in pairs or in larger clusters. Perfect for both private homes and public interiors, the metal shade casts light directly downwards, making Compass an excellent choice for dining tables, kitchen islands or workspaces. With a replaceable bulb, you can easily tailor the brightness and colour temperature to suit the mood of the room.

Julien Renault

Julien Renault is a French-born designer based in Brussels. He has studied industrial design in ESAD Design & Art School in Portugal and ECAL in Switzerland, and worked for example at Studio Bouroullec in Paris. In his own studio, Renault has designed furniture and accessories for brands including Mattiazzi and Hem, and he also engages in creative direction and photography.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

  • Level 2: Free shipping for orders over 129 €
  • Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over 99 €

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.
