Made by Choice's VALO lounge chair was originally designed for the VALO Hotel & Work building in Helsinki, which combines a hotel and a communal workspace. The new kind of experience offered by the hybrid hotel also required clever furniture innovations, to which the VALO armchair responds: the elegant recliner invites you to relax, but it is also designed to fit perfectly next to an adjustable laptop desk. The charming lounge chair is perfect for both the office and the living room.

The simple, yet impressive look of the beautifully finished VALO lounge chair draws inspiration from the design language of Finnish classics, making it a true masterpiece of Scandinavian design. All Made by Choice’s products are made in Halikko, Finland.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

  • Level 2: Free shipping for orders over 129 €
  • Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over 99 €

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.
