Description

Goodnight Light’s Bobb lamp swims straight into the spotlight of the interior. And while a certain iconic movie theme might already be playing in your head, Bobb is anything but frightening – this shark would much rather glow gently as a lamp than star in a horror film. Designed by Marke Newton, the playful lamp combines sculptural shape with atmospheric illumination in a way that is guaranteed to turn heads. 

The portable lamp allows you to adjust both the brightness and colour of the light to suit the setting and mood. Its softer glow works beautifully as a night light in a children’s room, while brighter and more colourful tones make a striking statement in the living room. The lightweight and water-resistant Bobb is perfectly suited for outdoor use and happily floats in a swimming pool as well. Just don’t let it dive too deep – unlike its real-life relatives, this shark isn’t much of a diver.

Marke Newton

Marke Newton (b. 1973) is a British contemporary artist, draughtsman and designer based in Barcelona. He graduated with a degree in Fine Art from Liverpool John Moores University in 1995. Throughout his career, Newton has worked across fine art, graphic design, lighting design and music. Since 2014, he has served as the art director and designer at Goodnight Light design brand which he co-founded together with his wife, Eva Newton

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:
