Description

Klaus Haapaniemi’s enchanting Running Hare cushion cover features a beautiful rabbit among detailed flora. The pattern is printed on both sides of the cover, which is made of a high-quality blend of linen and cotton. The cushion cover has a hidden zipper and white piping.

Illustrator and designer Klaus Haapaniemi has collaborated with designer Mia Wallenius to create a unique range of home and fashion textiles inspired by the Nordic nature and Finnish folklore. The beautiful patterns follow traditional decorative arts but their style and approach are modern. The finest natural materials combined with detailed patterns create a truly luxurious collection.

Klaus Haapaniemi

Klaus Haapaniemi (b. 1970) is one of Finland’s most internationally acclaimed illustrators and designers. His distinctive style blends themes drawn from Nordic nature, folklore and mythology with a luxurious and modern aesthetic. A graduate of the Lahti Institute of Design, Haapaniemi has created prints for brands like Diesel, Levi’s and Dolce & Gabbana, and illustrated the beloved Iittala tableware series Taika and Satumetsä. Haapaniemi was named Finland’s Designer of the Year in 2008 and was awarded the Finnish State Prize for Design in 2018.

In 2010, Haapaniemi founded his own brand, Klaus Haapaniemi Co., together with his spouse Mia Wallenius. The collection features a range of high-quality textiles and decor items, such as decorative cushions and wallpapers. Having lived in London for many years, the designer now divides his time between Berlin, Germany, and Tampere, Finland.

    Nach dem “Running Fox” musste nun auch endlich noch der “Running Hare” sein. Ich liebe das Design dieser Kissenbezüge. Allerdings ging ich wegen des doch recht stolzen Preises lange mit der Kaufentscheidung schwanger. Aber die Qualität ist wirklich super! Im Januar fährt der Hase nun mit nach Finnland zum Fuchs, da können sich die beiden dann in unserem Mökki eine gute Nacht wünschen… 😁

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.
