Description

Woud’s Slalom step stool playfully combines a winding, black steel frame with sturdy steps made of white-lacquered oak. This easily movable, multifunctional stool is perfect as a reaching aid in the kitchen, a minimalist nightstand table in the bedroom, or as a plant stand in a living area.

The name and curvy frame of the Slalom stool are inspired by designer Qian Jiang's skiing trip to Northern Sweden. The founder of Stockholm-based Studio Dejawu, the Chinese-born Jiang ingeniously merges Chinese and Scandinavian design traditions in his creations.

Studio Dejawu

Studio Dejawu, a Stockholm-based design agency, was founded in 2015 by Chinese-born designer Qian Jiang. Jiang studied industrial design at Jiangnan University before completing a Master's degree in Industrial Design at Lund University, Sweden. His design philosophy is centred on creating meaningful and honest products: he aims to produce timeless furniture, decor items and art installations that serve as "memory containers" and narrate visually inspiring stories.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

  • Level 2: Free shipping for orders over 129 €
  • Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over 99 €

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.
