Blooming all year long

Poppies usually bloom only in July and August, but in Marimekko's collection, they flourish all year round! Maija Isola originally designed the classic Unikko, Finnish for "poppy", pattern as a protest against Armi Ratia's criticism of floral prints – the result has now become one of Marimekko's most recognizable and popular patterns worldwide.

This summer, the pattern adorns the Unikko bathrobe in a lush sage green hue. The soft and absorbent terrycloth bathrobe is made from 100% organic cotton, making it perfect to wear after a cottage sauna or a refreshing summer swim.

LAYERED's Sleeping Flower rug was designed in collaboration with the Danish flower shop Poppykalas.

Step into a blossoming meadow

LAYERED's hand-woven Sleeping Flower rug presents a beautiful abstract interpretation of lush gardens, transforming any space into a blooming meadow. Featuring a serene yet vibrant color palette, the rug is made from a blend of wool and Tencel that feels incredibly soft under your feet.

First introduced in 1933, the Aalto stool caused quite a sensation in the design world of its time due to its revolutionary L-leg structure.

Ecological esthetics

Artek is updating the look of Alvar Aalto's classic E60 stool: the beloved stool is now made from so-called wild birch that showcases the material's natural variation in its entirety, including all visible knots, marks, and darker heartwood. By using wild birch, Artek challenges expectations of visual uniformity in natural materials and sparks a conversation about more sustainable esthetics, as climate change also affects the appearance of Finnish wood.

In this four-legged stool, wild birch is used for both the legs and the veneer-covered seat. The stool is made in Finland.

Mirlo's colorful parasols bring cheerful shades and playful shapes to the summer terrace.

Beat the heat

Swedish design brand Mirlo's parasols protect you and your skin from the sun during the hottest moments of a summer day, while crowning your summer oasis with vibrant colors and a playful design – that somewhat resembles an ice cream cone, don't you agree? Made with a robust aluminum frame, the Mirlo sun umbrella features colorfast acrylic fabric that withstands from one summer to the next one without fading. With several color options to choose from, you’re sure to find the perfect match for your patio furniture.

Alessi's Toru electric kettle has a creative design, where the kettle's handle passes directly through the body as a spout.

Elegance of everyday life

Alessi's Toru kettle captivates with its beautifully reflective steel surface and innovative design, featuring a handle that runs through the body, doubling as the spout. This design also explains the name of the kettle: the Japanese word "Toru" means "through".

Designed by Nendo, the electric kettle combines everyday practicality with elegant aesthetics. The result is a charming and functional piece that delights in table settings year after year.
