w153 Ile table lamp, poppy red
Description
Wästberg’s île table lamp, designed by Inga Sempé, was inspired by clamp lamps from the designer’s childhood. Sempé's interpretation of the office classic, however, has given it more use and versatility: in addition to the edge of a desk, the île table lamp can also be placed on top of it or even mounted on the wall.
The shade of the île luminaire is ball-jointed, allowing the light produced by its COB LED light source to be directed wherever you may want it. While île is perfectly functional as a reading light on a nightstand or desk, it also makes a distinctive accessory elsewhere in the interior. And best of all, you can easily change the location and purpose of the lamp in case you find it useful – or simply more fitting – somewhere else.
