Description
valerie objects' Tramonto wall lamp brings a soft, glowing halo and simple geometric forms to the wall. Created by the design duo Maria Scarpulla, the Tramonto wall lamp was named after the Italian word for sunset – indeed, the halo around the lamp resembles the glowing horizon after sunset.
The minimalist yet expressive lamps of the Tramonto collection are made of steel and wood and illuminated by an integrated LED unit, which is dimmable with the included remote control. The geometric shapes of the lamps also look perfect when arranged in pairs or larger compositions.

Maria Scarpulla is a design duo based in Ghent, Belgium. The duo was formed by the Italian-American painter and designer Maria Scarpulla (b. 1987) and her partner Jori Hernalsteen (b. 1987), who joined the duo in 2019. Specializing in furniture and functional objects, the duo strives to create "a conversation in of color and form" using minimalist compositions, subtle details and poetic designs. Maria Scarpulla's breakthrough work was the furniture collection You Know The Way, which was published in 2019.
