Description

The Art of Kinfolk: An Iconic Lens on Life and Style is a captivating photo book delving into the past and present of the lifestyle magazine Kinfolk. Just like the Kinfolk magazines, the book is dominated by large, visually captivating photographs that explore various manifestations of contemporary culture. The editorial team has unearthed over 300 images from the archives, thoughtfully organizing them thematically across 320 pages, which are printed on different paper stocks for a tactile feel.

After 50 issues and 700,000 books in print, The Art of Kinfolk presents a compelling curation of our tenure in print. While the magazine has evolved over time, one defining characteristic has remained constant since its inception: a dedication to publishing only the most exquisite photography. From interiors to fashion, portraiture, food and travel, the magazine’s consistently boundary-pushing imagery has coalesced into one of the most immersive lifestyle esthetics of the last decade.
