Description

Alessi's Roost double egg cup is a sleek aluminum cup that turns even the most ordinary breakfast moments into something special. With its streamlined geometric shape, the egg holder beautifully highlights the soft, rounded shape of the eggs it carries.

Made from mirror-polished aluminum, the elegant boiled egg cup was designed by Adam Goodrum, who drew inspiration from childhood memories of early mornings and collecting eggs. Both practical and sculptural, the Roost double egg cup is a breakfast accessory that adds a refined touch to any table setting.

Adam Goodrum

The Australian industrial designer Adam Goodrum (b.1972) studied at University of Technology in Sydney. Today he focuses on furniture, product and interior design and aims to combine functionality with esthetics. Central to his design is also the interest towards movement and geometry. Throughout the years Goodrum has become one of Australia’s leading industrial designers and he has won several awards like the ”Young Designer of the Year” in 1997 and the prestigious Bombay Sapphire Design Award in 2004.
