Handwoven with care, it features a gracefully curved seat and an innovative base that extends along the ground, preventing the legs from sinking into soft surfaces. With its visually soft yet structurally robust design, the Rita chair remains a timeless favorite for outdoor dining and lounging year after year.
The Exterior collection transforms Sika-Design’s classic rattan designs into attractive and maintenance-free outdoor furniture. Made from strong Alu-Rattan aluminum and synthetic ArtFibre weave, the Exterior furniture can be used in the garden, patio and balcony all year round. The lightweight and durable material closely resembles the organic character of natural rattan.

Nanna Ditzel (1923–2005) was a Danish designer who studied furniture design in the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and started her career together with her partner Jørgen Ditzel, with whom she designed the famous Hanging Egg chair. After Jørgen’s death in 1961, Nanna Ditzel continued her career in London until returning to Copenhagen in 1986, where she opened her own design studio and furniture workshop.
