Description

Recipes and Unforgettable Experiences: Lapland’s 8 Seasons invites you on a culinary journey to the Finnish Arctic. Showcased with characterful Northern esthetics and beautiful photographs, the recipes draw from local ingredients, kitchen traditions and nature of the Finnish Lapland. The book was published by Cozy Publishing.

Lapland’s 8 Seasons takes readers along to savor tasty food and once-in-a-lifetime experiences in the Arctic region. The book pays homage to the pure nature and ingredients of the North, as Sirly and Heidi take you on a unique culinary journey to a landscape of snow-capped fells!

Sirly Ylläsjärvi is a young, prize-winning chef, who together with Heidi Seikkula runs the Aurora Estate boutique hotel above the Arctic circle. For Sirly, flavor come first, followed closely by esthetics: dishes are fuss-free and easy to make also in the home kitchen. Sirly wants to encourage everyone to have a go at creating the recipes also while on holiday in Lapland – tasty food guarantees ultimate pleasure. The book includes both quick everyday dishes for busy moments and more advanced recipes for challenging yourself.
