valerie objects' Floor Lamp L1, designed by the Belgian architect-designer Pierric De Coster, is a contemporary light sculpture boasting an extremely refined yet eye-catching design. The Floor Lamp L1 is composed of two aluminum tubes standing next to each other and reaching a height of 74.8 x 0 in (190 x cm. cm). One cylinder is fitted with a dimmable LED unit that directs the light to the adjacent one, which in turn reflects the light back, creating a bright, floating glow in the middle.

Due to its high, architectural silhouette, the Floor Lamp L1 will not go unnoticed even in a larger space, but the luminaire's minimalist, timeless and calm expression makes it easy to adapt to different interiors both in private and public contexts.

Pierric De Coster

Pierric De Coster is a Belgian designer who founded his own design office in Antwerp in 2017. De Coster is known for his extremely simplified, sculptural furniture and lighting that draw from the design philosophy of well-known minimalists such as Maarten Van Severen and Donald Judd. De Coster spends a lot of time perfecting every detail of his designs, and the entire design process might even take several years if needed.
