Description

Extraordinary Days Fiskars Village – 13 Stories takes a peek into the everyday life of the community living in the village of Fiskars, Finland. Published by Cozy Publishing in collaboration with Fiskars, the book celebrates the 375-year history of the iconic Finnish brand. Featured voices include a carpenter, a culinary artisan, a veterinarian, and a couple who run the Café Bar Laundry—often referred to as the heart of the village—as they share their personal experiences.

The beautiful book makes a great gift idea, although a word of warning – after reading this book you may find yourself browsing through apartments in Fiskars or at least looking for accommodation options for your summer holiday!

This book pays homage to the everyday and the daily life in Fiskars Village, its real homes and real people. Life happens in the lived and shared moments, the tasks and routines that reflect our values and the spaces where we feel at home and present. Houses that are made into homes because of the meaning we give our experiences, in sustainability and dependability.
