The HAY Copenhague CPH30 table is part of the Copenhague furniture collection designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. The large, 2.5-meter table is equally suitable for use as a dining table as you can extend its length up to 157.48 in (400 cm) with the separately sold extension leaves – so feel free to invite an extra guest or two to your dinner party! The table has a durable, low-maintenance laminate finish on the top. The CPH30 is also ideal as a desk for a home office.

HAY invited the Bouroullec brothers to design the furniture for the new buildings of the University of Copenhagen (KUA). Due to the symmetrical frames and sleek legs, Copenhagen chairs and tables both stack vertically, allowing an almost infinite stacking. The Bouroullec brothers wanted to create furniture with greater originality and a more domestic expression than traditional educational furniture. The Copenhague collection fits all kinds of public and private use.

In 2021, HAY renewed the surface treatments of its wood furniture by replacing their paints and lacquers with more environmentally friendly, water-based alternatives. Please note that due to this, natural wood furniture now comes with only one lacquer option instead of the previous two: the new water-based lacquer is glossier than the matte lacquer previously used, but slightly more matte than HAY’s previous clear lacquer.
