Description

Woud's Collar sofa, with its soft contours and richly padded seat cushions, beckons you to relax and indulge in its exquisite design. Created by German designer Meike Harde, the Collar sofa is aptly named for its enveloping back cushions that wrap around the rectangular frame like a plush collar. The cushions are filled with memory foam, which softly yet firmly cradles the sitter, providing optimal comfort for napping, watching movies or socializing.

Despite its plushness, the Collar sofa maintains a light and airy appearance, thanks to its low backrest and slender, unobtrusive metal legs. This sofa is upholstered with highly durable, recycled polyester fabric Cyber by Gabriel.

Meike Harde

Meike Harde, known for her innovative approach to materials, is a German designer specializing in lighting and upholstery. After graduating from Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar in 2011, Harde established her own design studio in Cologne in 2013. She has a penchant for reimagining familiar materials for new purposes, striving to create visually light yet structurally robust products that are built to last and transcend fleeting trends.
