Graypants is a Seattle-based design brand known for its responsibly and sustainably manufactured luminaires inspired by organic forms of nature. Graypants founders Seth Grizzle and Jonathan Junker both worked as architects when in 2007 they got the idea to collaborate and focus on product design and art installations. Founded in Seattle, Graypants first manufactured pendant lights made from recycled cardboard, which quickly became a hit with both private customers as well as restaurants and offices. Since 2012, Graypants has also had an office in Amsterdam, and over the years the company portfolio has expanded to include furniture, packaging design and architecture. In addition to using responsible materials and sustainable production methods, Graypants has partnered with social works programs to provide craft-based work for those in need.
