Thor Høy's career in design began as a child – he designed his first chair at the age of 11 using a stolen shopping cart as material. Høy has always been interested in many things at the same time and has worked in a wide variety of fields; he is a trained carpenter and has graduated as a production technologist. Thor Høy has also worked as an in-house designer for Georg Jensen and Rosendahl and designed his own jewellery collection.
