Lapuan Kankurit’s Kaisla linen towel brings the relaxed, textured charm of linen to your home or sauna – this linen towel works equally well as a tea towel in the kitchen, a hand towel in the bathroom or as a small sauna seat cover. The quick-drying Kaisla towel is woven from slightly thicker linen yarn than usual, which makes it especially absorbent and pleasantly firm in texture.
Designed by Elina Helenius, the linen Kaisla textiles are decorated with delicate stripes that call to mind sunny summer days and reeds swaying in the wind – fittingly, kaisla means “reed” in Finnish. The linen textiles in the collection delight with their easy-care quality and durability, and they do not necessarily require ironing – small creases simply highlight the natural character of linen. The Kaisla collection is woven at Lapuan Kankurit’s own weaving mill in Finland; the company name translates as “Weavers of Lapua.”
