Pilke 20/42 is part of the simple yet ornamental Pilke Signature Collection designed by Tuukka Halonen. Crafted from birch plywood, the Pilke luminaires are an enchanting combination of technology and tradition: Halonen sought influences for the design from traditional Finnish wood crafts but utilized today’s manufacturing methods and materials. As a contemporary interpretation of shingle work, the lamps are characterised by a crystal-like pattern that filters the light pleasantly and casts beautiful shadows on the walls and ceiling. All Pilke lamps are designed and handcrafted in Finland.
