Description

Published by Phaidon, The Design Book brings together a selection of the most significant design classics of all time from around the world. Each object is presented with an elegant photo and informative text, and the updated version of the book features over 30 new products. The book has been composed by Phaidon’s own editorial team.

From the paper clip to the Eames Lounge Chair, the hundreds of everyday objects included in The Design Book span the last five centuries and shape our society in indelible ways. This extraordinary collection includes classic pieces by Breuer, Le Corbusier, and Castiglioni as well as anonymously designed objects like the deck chair and the whisk. Each entry has been carefully reviewed to bring every detail fully up to date and, with the addition of 30 products designed within the last 15 years, this new edition is more comprehensive — and relevant — than ever.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

15% GST is included in all prices presented on our website.

Private customers: For orders of NZD$1,000 or less, a 15% GST is included in the prices. For orders over NZD$1,000, GST is collected by New Zealand customs and therefore deducted from the total amount. The deduction is visible in the cost breakdown at checkout.
