Description

Verso Design’s Lastu basket collection is a fresh take on traditional Finnish baskets made of birch. The modern woven baskets are great for picking apples and mushrooms as well as for storing toys, magazines and other objects and accessories. Two layers of birch provide the Lastu baskets with added strength, and the beautiful leather handles add to the contemporary look.

I love this basket although with its leather handle it doesn’t seem as secure as a similar one I bought over thirty years ago which has lasted me until now. I must admit, I don’t use it for mushrooms, rather for all my fruit and vegetables when I shop.
