The Dioscuri 35 table lamp, designed by Michele De Lucchi in 2000 for the Italian company Artemide, provides smooth light diffused through a white, hand-blown opal glass shade. The round shape adds a playful touch to the lamp’s simple and calm design. The Dioscuri table lamp creates a pleasant ambience in the living room, next to a bed or by a window. You can also combine together different sizes to lighten up bigger spaces in a unique style.

Michele De Lucchi was born in 1951 in Ferrara, Italy. He studied architecture in Florence. After his graduation De Lucchi was a part of anti-design movement called Radical.
De Lucchi has designed lamps and furnishings for the most renewed Italian and European companies. He has received a Compasso D'oro design award together with Giancarlo Fassina for their well-known Tolomeo series of lamps.
