Lapuan Kankurit’s Kaisla bath towel brings the relaxed, textured charm of linen to your home, the beach or the sauna – this linen towel works beautifully as a bath or beach towel, as well as a generously sized sauna bench cover. The quick-drying Kaisla towel is woven from slightly thicker linen yarn than usual, which makes it especially absorbent and pleasantly firm in texture.
Designed by Elina Helenius, the linen Kaisla textiles are decorated with delicate stripes that call to mind sunny summer days and reeds swaying in the wind – fittingly, kaisla means “reed” in Finnish. The linen textiles in the collection delight with their easy-care quality and durability, and they do not necessarily require ironing – small creases simply highlight the natural character of linen. The Kaisla collection is woven at Lapuan Kankurit’s own weaving mill in Finland; the company name translates as “Weavers of Lapua.”
