The Sumace rug by Danish brand massimo copenhagen brings the raw beauty of natural fibres and a calming rhythm into your home. Hand-knotted from two durable materials – hemp and jute – the rug features a rich texture that highlights the natural colour variations and craftsmanship of traditional weaving. The result is a charming blend of rustic character and modern simplicity.

Easy to care for and highly resistant to wear, the Sumace hemp rug is an excellent choice for spaces that require both longevity and a natural atmosphere – whether placed under a dining table, in a children’s room or in a hallway.

    Place felt under the feet of heavy furniture to prevent damage. Be aware that colours may fade if exposed to strong sunlight for extended periods. Staining from the backside may occur, so use an underlay on delicate surfaces.
  • Care instructions Professional cleaning is recommended. Never clean with chemicals.
    Use a vacuum cleaner without a brush. Vacuum frequently when the carpet is new as it will shed fluff for a period. Always vacuum in the direction of the pile. Rotate the rug twice a year to avoid uneven wear.
