Description

Muuto’s 70/70 table embodies Scandinavian simplicity with its clean-lined design while also bringing something new to the game with just a dash of futuristic geometry. The table comprises a beautifully finished oak tabletop resting on minimalist metal legs that measure 70 x 70 cm – hence the name 70/70. At a closer look, the table legs also reveal to have a surprising detail: their subtly geometric triangular form. Designed by TAF Studio, the 70/70 table is suited for a variety of spaces from kitchens and dining halls to offices and conference rooms.

Care instructions
Clean often and carefully with a soft and dry cloth following the grain pattern. Periodically, clean with moist cloth. For long term care, it is recommended that the tabletop is treated 2-3 times a year with special oak wood oil on both top and bottom of tabletop that assists with making the wood resistant to stains and fluids. The wood should not be exposed to excessive humidity, heat or direct sun light.

TAF Studio

The Swedish architects Gabriella Lenke and Mattias Ståhlbom have run the architecture and design studio TAF (previously TAF Architects) in Stockholm, Sweden, since 2002. TAF Studio’s aim is to make ordinary life less ordinary through subtle but effective changes in how products and architecture appear and function. A recurrent departure point in TAF Studio’s projects is that everyday objects by their very commonness can be made uncommon.

Lenke and Ståhlbom have designed products for Muuto, NakNak and Fogia. In 2017, the prestigious Bruno Mathsson Award was given to TAF Studio.
