Description

Motarasu's Wa salad cutlery adds style and ambiance to any table setting. The modern design combined with the unexpected pairing of ash wood and stainless steel makes the salad servers versatile kitchen essentials that complement any dining arrangement with harmony – fittingly, the word "Wa" means harmony in Japanese! The Wa salad cutlery is made by hand.

  • Care instructions Hand wash only. The white oiled finish leaves the ash wood looking natural. Over time it will develop a natural patina, enhancing the beauty of the material. Re-oiling can be done if the wood starts to look faded or dry. Make sure to find the right white oil for wooden food interior and follow the instructions of the packaging.

Masuko Unayama

Masuko Unayama (b. 1975) is a Japanese designer and interior stylist. After graduating from Joshibi University of Art and Design, she established her own design company in 1999. She is well-known for her dedication to craftsmanship and blending traditional techniques with modern design. Unayama collaborates with artisans to create timeless, functional pieces.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
CHF 178.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over CHF 2400.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from CHF 50 to CHF 150  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

  • Level 2: Free shipping for orders over CHF 150
  • Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over CHF 120

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.
