Description
Wästberg’s Alma wall and ceiling lamp boasts a fascinating design that entices you to take a closer look or perhaps even touch its wavy matte finish. The luminaire is made of spun aluminium, with its look completed by a silver crown light source.
Alma's design may be subtle and understated, but by no means is it dull. The gently undulating lamp, designed by the Swedish duo Tham & Videgård, is inspired by the world of physics; the sine wave, to be exact. The form could also be interpreted as ripples in the water caused by a pebble thrown in. The wavy surface creates a captivating play of light and shadow even in daylight – Alma is much more than a lamp: it is a work of art that catches the eye even when the light is turned off.

I think that the wire is way too short! It is not possible for me to put the lamp on the wall, because of that. And it is difficult to change the wire. So I think that the name of the lamp shouldn’t contain the word “wall”. And even if I wanted to put the lamp onto the ceiling, the wire could still be too short. The wire length makes my possibilities in general very limited
