Woud’s Soma bar stool, created by Finnish designer Kasper Nyman, is characterised by soft, flowing lines. Made of solid wood, the Soma bar stool pairs a sleek, graceful appearance with a robust and durable structure, while the lightly curved, veneered backrest and seat add to the comfortable seating experience. This wooden bar chair is versatile enough to suit both home use and restaurants, and its otherwise simple design is enlivened by beautiful wood grain patterns and skillfully executed joints.

Kasper Nyman

Kasper Nyman is a Finnish furniture designer who runs his own studio Office KN in Helsinki. A 2017 graduate from Aalto University’s program of Furniture Design, Nyman continues the simplistic Scandinavian design traditions with his functional, visually precise products that have a strong focus on the natural character of different materials. A fine example of Nyman’s skills is the Mono chair designed for the Danish brand Woud.
