Klong’s Klonk door knocker is a modern take on the traditional front door accessory. Made from brass, the design was inspired by Straight Design Studio’s Viktor Erlandsson’s fascination with old utility objects that are at risk of being forgotten.
Composed of a minimalist frame and a rounded knob, Klonk fits seamlessly onto both contemporary facades and old, ornate doors. At the same time, it brings attention back to the physical ritual of knocking – a small gesture that feels distinctly different from pressing a doorbell.
