Description

Look into Tom Dixon's Flare Bead pendant and the room looks back at you, slightly warped in its mirror-bright silver surface. The intriguing teardrop shape is mouth-blown from borosilicate glass, then metallised to give the lamp its gleaming silver finish. The Flare Bead comes with a generous 3.5-metre cord, so hanging it in a tall space is no trouble at all. The pendant is easy to imagine on its own above a kitchen island or dining table, but it also shines in a striking cluster of several lamps in a stairwell, a restaurant, or a hotel lobby.

Tom Dixon

Tom Dixon (born 1959 in Tunisia) is a self-taught designer who lives and works in Great Britain. Dixon is especially known for his lighting designs, in which he combines his skills in welding and interest in innovative production techniques. Dixon's previous posts include head of design of Habitat and creative director of Artek, the Finnish furniture manufacturer founded by Alvar Aalto. 

Dixon has his own brand with the same name but he has designed for numerous manufacturers. His designs can be found, for instance, from the permanent collection of Victoria and Albert Museum.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.
