Daumiller side chair, brown-black pine - natural rush cord
Description
GUBI has brought the charming Daumiller chair back into the spotlight after decades out of production. Named after its designer, Rainer Daumiller, the sculptural seat draws inspiration from traditional milking stools as well as Hans J. Wegner’s iconic China Chair. With these influences in mind, Daumiller set out to design a chair that would work just as well for children’s playtime as for grown-up dinner gatherings.
Made from characterful pine wood, each Daumiller chair is unique with its naturally varying grain. The woven paper cord seat adds an airy contrast to the solid frame and softens the overall look, allowing the Daumiller side chair to shine even in more minimalist interiors where a full pine version might dominate too much. With its playful character and timeless silhouette, the side hair is a versatile addition to any space from the kitchen and home office to a cosy corner in the living room.
