Named and inspired by Japanese partitions and folding screens, the Nychair X Shikiri ottoman is adorned with a geometric pattern by Rika Kawato. The durable sailcloth moulds to the contours of the sitter, and if needed, the entire seat fabric can be cleaned or replaced. The Nychair X Shikiri ottoman can be used as a footstool for Nychair X lounge chairs or as a portable stool on its own, and its foldable structure enables effortless storage and transportation.
Designed by Takeshi Nii and first introduced in 1970, the Nychair X has captivated Japanese design enthusiasts for over half a century.
