Kosta Boda’s Moss vase, designed by Åsa Jungnelius, is a characterful glass vase with a bubbly form and lively surface that beautifully highlights everything from delicate wildflowers to lavish bouquets. The vase is mouth-blown at the Kosta glassworks in Småland, Sweden – a factory with centuries of expertise in glassmaking.
The Moss series is based on old moulds from the Kosta glassworks, featuring a rippling, textured surface originally carved by hand. The clear, slightly bluish crystal glass is melted down from recycled glass and surplus materials from other production processes, making each piece one of a kind with its own unique tone variations, air bubbles and surface texture.
