9 portable table lamps – bring light wherever you go

Light without limits! Cordless lighting gives you the freedom to create a cozy atmosphere in whatever spot you choose making it perfect for a cottage, garden, terrace or any place without electricity. We picked nine lighting ideas that will add a magical ambiance to the summer and autumn evenings.

1. HAY's playful PC Portable lamp has an integrated touch step dimmer, which allows you to alter between bright downlight and soft ambient light. 2. The Lucca table lamp resembles a traditional paper lantern, but instead of paper, it is made of metal and opal glass. 3. Designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, the Bellhop lamp is a ”modern candle” in the shape of a mushroom.

4. The cordless Bolleke lamp is easy to hang on a tree branch from its silicone loop inspired by hair accessories and sailing equipment. 5. Reminiscent of Japanese lanterns, the Cestita Alubat lamp catches the eye with its charming and atmospheric design. 6. Menu's Carrie lamp can be used as a bedside lamp as well as a portable source of illumination for summer houses, picnics, and evening walks on the beach.

7. Kartell’s Battery lamp gives your décor a touch of Italian splendor with its beautiful crystal-like shade. 8. Combined with the separately sold upright stand, the Balad lamp can also be used as a stylish floor lamp. 9. &Tradition's portable Flowerpot VP9 is a cordless version of the 60s joyful table lamp designed by Verner Panton.
