&Tradition's Thorvald SC96 is an outdoor café table featuring a steel frame and round tabletop that provides a compact setting for open-air dining. The Thorvald SC96 patio tables blend seamlessly with dining chairs from the same collection and also pair beautifully with other styles of outdoor furniture, making them a versatile addition to any al fresco dining area.

Designed by Space Copenhagen, the Thorvald collection offers a diverse suite of metal patio furniture, echoing the vibrant essence of Copenhagen and playing with sunlight to cast intriguing shadows on the ground. Inspired by the poetic lines of Denmark's renowned neoclassical sculptor, Bertel Thorvaldsen, and the intricate motifs in his namesake museum, the Thorvald series is designed to animate any outdoor space, from chic urban terraces and snug balconies to spacious summer retreats, in both private and public settings.

Space Copenhagen

Space Copenhagen is a Danish design studio founded by Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou in 2005. The studio is known for its multidisciplinary work, which extends from interior architecture to furniture, lighting and art projects.

Space Copenhagen describes its approach to design with the concept of ”Poetic Modernism”, which refers to a balance between the classic and the modern, and between sculptural and minimalist aesthetics. The products they have designed can be found in the collections of &Tradition and Tameko, among others.

Space Copenhagen – poetic modernism and timeless spaces

Founded in 2005 by Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou, Space Copenhagen works widely across different areas of design: the studio’s projects include interior design for private homes, hotels and restaurants as well as furniture, lighting, art installations and object design.

A balance of opposites

Space Copenhagen describes its own design philosophy with the term ”Poetic Modernism”, at the heart of which is the combining of opposites: classic and modern, industrial and organic, sculptural and minimalist. The tension between these different elements creates spaces and objects that are at once alive in the present moment and timeless.

Space Copenhagen’s work also places emphasis on understanding human behaviour and experience – the design always starts from how spaces and objects are used.

Architecture, restaurants and design classics

Space Copenhagen has designed several internationally renowned interiors, such as the 11 Howard hotel in New York and the interiors of the Copenhagen restaurant Geranium and the first Noma restaurant.

In the field of product design, Space Copenhagen has collaborated with several Danish and international manufacturers – they have designed furniture, lighting and homeware for GUBI, &Tradition, Fredericia and Tameko, among others.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

9% GST is included in all prices presented on our website.

Private customers: For orders of SG$400 or less, a 9% GST is included in the prices. For orders over SG$400, GST is collected by Singapore customs and therefore deducted from the total amount. The deduction is visible in the cost breakdown at checkout.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by local customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).
