Description

The Variable kneeling chair by Varier is designed to bring movement and ergonomic comfort to your working day. Its forward-tilting seat encourages a naturally upright posture, helping to reduce pressure on the lower back and ease tension in the neck and shoulders. Upholstered in high-quality fabric by Kvadrat, the chair’s curved wooden runners allow gentle rocking and dynamic sitting throughout the day.

Designed by Peter Opsvik, the Variable was the world’s first kneeling chair – an iconic pioneer in ergonomic seating. Launched at the Copenhagen Furniture Fair in 1979, it remains one of Varier’s most popular products. Lightweight, agile and easy to move, the Variable is ideal for both home and office use.
