Description

The Kissanpäivät blanket by Lapuan Kankurit features charming and beautiful cats which are created by illustrator Matti Pikkujämsä. Calm colours give the blanket a clean, graphic look, and the cute cat pattern is mirrored on the other side in opposite colours. The soft blanket keeps you warm on chilly winter days and is lovely to wrap up on cool summer evenings. The blanket is made of mulesing-free New Zealand wool at Lapuan Kankurit's sewing company in Finland.

Matti Pikkujämsä

Matti Pikkujämsä (b. 1976) is a Finnish illustrator and graphic designer educated at the University of Art and Design Helsinki. He is especially known for his playful and charming illustrations for children’s books. In addition to book covers and editorial illustrations for publications such as Helsingin Sanomat and Image, Pikkujämsä has designed patterns for brands like Samuji, Marimekko and Kauniste. Several books illustrated by Pikkujämsä have been nominated for the Finlandia Junior Prize. In 2013, he received the Rudolf Koivu Award and in 2015, the Finnish State Prize for Illustration.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

15% GST is included in all prices presented on our website.

Private customers: For orders of NZD$1,000 or less, a 15% GST is included in the prices. For orders over NZD$1,000, GST is collected by New Zealand customs and therefore deducted from the total amount. The deduction is visible in the cost breakdown at checkout.
