Description

Gejst's Ismo side table by Gejst is Finnish designer Sami Kallio’s tribute to architecture, particularly to brutalism, with its minimalist elements and raw materials that inspired the table’s pared-down silhouette. Made from characterful oak with its natural grain and shade variations, the Ismo table embraces the beauty of authentic materials while emphasizing a strong, timeless presence.

The versatile side table works just as well as a coffee table in the living room as it does as a bedside table at bedroom or in a hotel room. The standout detail lies in the table's intriguing form: closed from the front yet open from the side, the design creates a sense of mystery – perfect for concealing treasures you’d rather keep out of sight while adding a touch of architectural refinement to any space.

Kallio has taken part in numerous exhibitions, and the furniture collection called The Finnish Blood In Me that was presented in Stockholm Furniture fair in 2011 caught a lot of attention.
