Description

Artemide's Ilio floor lamp is a minimalist column light designed by the Italian Ernesto Gismondi. Its tall form stays pared back, yet it still turns heads as a graphic presence in the room. The lamp is built from aluminium and steel, with the LED light source set at the very top, from where the light spreads evenly towards the ceiling and the surrounding walls. A dimmer takes the light from bright general lighting down to a soft, atmospheric glow, and you can also adjust it from your smartphone through the Artemide app.

The Ilio collection, launched in 2013, lights up rooms across the home just as happily as public spaces and offices. Its clean lines and easily combined colours work well both on their own and in groups of several lamps. The deep red, high-gloss lamps of the Ruby Red Collection are available for a limited time only.

Ernesto Gismondi

Ernesto Gismondi (b. 1931) is an Italian designer and the founder of the lighting company Artemide. With a background in aeronautical and missile engineering, Gismondi founded Studio Artemide in the early 1960s together with Sergio Mazza. During his career Gismondi has operated in various fields of design: he has participated in the avant-garde movement Memphis, been the vice president of ADI (Association of Industrial Design) and an associate professor of Rocket Engines for Missiles at the Milan Polytechnic. He has received the prestigious Compasso D'Oro award twice.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

15% GST is included in all prices presented on our website.

Private customers: For orders of NZD$1,000 or less, a 15% GST is included in the prices. For orders over NZD$1,000, GST is collected by New Zealand customs and therefore deducted from the total amount. The deduction is visible in the cost breakdown at checkout.

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by local customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
