Description

The Fiber lounge armchair by Muuto is made from recycled plastic. The practical yet elegant chair is defined by the contrast between its leather seat and sleek legs, creating a refined and balanced look. The inviting shape makes the lounge armchair a perfect fit for homes, lounges and offices alike. The swivel version is particularly well-suited for home offices, workspaces and meeting rooms, offering both comfort and functionality.

Muuto's popular Fiber chair was designed by Iskos-Berlin. Over the years, the collection has expanded with numerous new models. The simple and classic Fiber chairs have been stripped of all unnecessary layers – the result is a perfect mix of a harmonious look and comfort. The Fiber collection combines soft curves with environmentally friendly materials, which gives the chairs their distinctive texture and makes them 100% recyclable.

  • Frame material Shell: 100% recycled plastic mixed with strength-improving additives. The
    recycled plastic comes from post-consumer waste.
  • Upholstery fabric Refine leather: aniline leather made from European raw hides. Dyed-through, chrome tanned, and produced without the use of PCP and CFC. Thickness 1,0-1,2 mm.
  • Base material Powder-coated aluminum made using a minimum of 95% recycled cast aluminum. The recycled cast aluminum comes from a mix of post-industrial and post-consumer waste.
  • Weight 17 kg
  • Notes Aniline leather will darken and build character with time, however, as the leather is dyed, the color will not change dramatically.
  • Care instructions Leather is a natural material that needs proper care to maintain its beauty. Wipe regularly with a dry cloth and treat with a special leather conditioner at least four times a year.

Iskos-Berlin

Copenhagen based Iskos-Berlin is a partnership between the designers Boris Berlin and Aleksej Iskos. Founded in 2010, Iskos-Berlin works in furniture design and also industrial and graphic design. The creative duo experiments with new techniques and materials to see what kind of an impact they have on everyday objects.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

15% GST is included in all prices presented on our website.

Private customers: For orders of NZD$1,000 or less, a 15% GST is included in the prices. For orders over NZD$1,000, GST is collected by New Zealand customs and therefore deducted from the total amount. The deduction is visible in the cost breakdown at checkout.

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by local customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.
