Finarte's Arkki rug captivates with its unique shape, offering an enchanting visual experience. Its charming, almost 3D-like design is reminiscent of different-coloured paper sheets laid casually on top of each other – just so that their corners overlap in a beautiful manner. Designed by Marianne Huotari, Arkki is hand-tufted from soft wool that provides a luxurious sensation beneath your bare feet, making the rug a perfect choice for both the bedroom and the living room. A cotton backing finishes the Arkki rug's sturdy appearance.

Marianne Huotari

Marianne Huotari is a Finnish ceramic and textile artist known for her open-minded approach to combining different materials and forms. Her works reflect her deep respect for natural materials, sustainable design and Finnish traditions – which she interprets in fresh, new ways in her designs. Huotari works as an artist at the Arabia Art Department and as an art director for the Finnish brand Finarte, previously also heading her own brand, STUDIO smoo.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

15% GST is included in all prices presented on our website.

Private customers: For orders of NZD$1,000 or less, a 15% GST is included in the prices. For orders over NZD$1,000, GST is collected by New Zealand customs and therefore deducted from the total amount. The deduction is visible in the cost breakdown at checkout.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by local customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
