Description

Eva Solo’s Western knife sharpener ensures your kitchen knives never lose their edge again. Designed specifically for European-style knives, the sharpener is tailored to their wider sharpening angle for optimal results.

Made from oak, the sharpener features two clearly marked stages: a coarse metal slot to restore the shape of a dull blade, and a fine ceramic slot to polish the edge to a sharp, even finish. The ergonomic, stable design makes sharpening easy and safe in the home kitchen. Ideal for both quick touch-ups and more thorough sharpening, the Western knife sharpener keeps all your European knives in top form.

Tools Design

Tools Design is a Danish design studio founded in 1989 by Claus Jensen and Henrik Holbæk. Claus Jensen (b. 1966) is an industrial designer who has graduated from the Danish Design School, Copenhagen, and Henrik Holbæk (b. 1960) is an industrial designer and architect who has graduated from the Royal Academy of Arts, Department of Industrial Design, Copenhagen.

The products of Tools Design are often characterized by a simplistic and innovative approach. Their products’ range goes from electronics and medical equipment to household products. The design philosophy of Tools Design is to put “something extra” into the products. The strength of the studio is to manage product design and communication to create lifestyle design. Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
1750 NOK.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 42 000 NOK.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 350 NOK to 1900 NOK and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

  • Level 2: Free shipping for orders over 1400 NOK
  • Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over 1100 NOK

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.
