Description

The Nova2 shower wiper by Frost adds a touch of contemporary Danish functionalism to the bathroom. The short-handled wiper is convenient to store even in smaller bathrooms. The shower wiper comes with a rubber hook and strap for hanging. The Nova2 wiper is made of stainless steel.

Designed by Bønnelycke MDD, Nova2 is an exceptionally stylish collection of basic items for the bathroom, kitchen and storage spaces. Nova2 combines the practical durability of stainless steel with simple, geometrical lines. The pieces of the Nova2 collection complement each other perfectly, and their minimalistic expression suits any décor.

Bønnelycke MDD

Today, Bønnelycke MDD operates in many fields of design, ranging from architecture, interior design and product design to communication, graphic design and web design. Since the beginning, the mission of Bønnelycke MDD has been to create relevant products that are used and appreciated for a long time. One of its awarded designs is the Pedal Bin range designed for the Danish Frost.

    The wiper is aesthetically fabulous. Looks great in our shower. Functionally, it is lacking on numerous fronts. The balance and weight are off. It’s heavy given it’s made of metal, and the handle is extremely thin. Hence, the blade section is hard to control and often doesn’t wipe well. The thin handle is hard to grip and so the whole thing spins easily in your hand when you’re trying to wipe with it. The actual rubber blade itself is not great. It leaves streaks sometimes and slides within the blade. While I love the look of this product, I will likely go back to my dollar store shower wiper so that I have something that works. It’s unfortunate given that this product cost close to $100 Canadian plus import taxes. Sadly, as I’ve used the wiper I cannot return it.
