Louisiana Museum of Modern Art's Vinterborn poster brings Dea Trier Mørch’s minimalist lithography to your wall. Known both as a graphic artist and author, Mørch gained wide recognition in 1970s Denmark with her novel Vinterbørn, which follows the lives of women in a Copenhagen maternity ward. The novel was based on her own experiences and has been translated into more than 20 languages.

Dea Trier Mørch (1941–2001) was a Danish visual artist and writer known for her deeply personal, socially engaged work. She was a founding member of the leftist artist collective Røde Mor and became widely recognised for her woodcut prints that portrayed daily life, family and motherhood with warmth and empathy. Her most famous novel, Vinterbørn (1976), is based on her own diary entries from a maternity ward and has been translated into more than 20 languages.
