Description

Alessi’s MG32 electric kettle was designed in 1985 by American architect and designer Michael Graves. Made of stainless steel, the kettle features adjustable temperature settings and a display that help in preparing the perfect cup of tea or coffee. In 2025, 40 years had passed since the launch of the MG32, and to mark the anniversary, its surface was given an elegant matte black finish.

Influenced by art deco, pop art, as well as cartoons, the MG32 electric kettle was designed to bring its users both functionality and joy: the spout features a small bird that whistles when the water has reached boiling point. Alessi’s cheerful design classic is a delightful companion for both morning brews and afternoon tea breaks.

Michael Graves

Michael Graves (1934-2015) was an American architect and designer whose playful and jovial postmodernist style will not be forgotten. Graves designed over 350 buildings across the world but he might still be best known for his clever everyday designs, such as the whistling tea kettle he created for Alessi.

    Molto bello. L’unica paura è che si potrebbe graffiare col tempo e rendere visibile i segni . Oggi va di moda molto il colore nero, tortora e grigio delle cucine e quindi il nero si abbina a tutto. Sono una precisa e molto pignola. Speriamo che non succeda. Ho già 2 bollitori Alessi elettrici uno manico panna con base ed uno manico azzurro con base da diversi anni in acciaio e poi ho anche quello dei 20 anni anniversario manico bordeaux ad induzione. Sì, mi piacciono i bollitori ed ogni tanto cambio look alla cucina con oggetti abbinati per colore.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.
