1616 / arita japan's Manz tea cup is where Danish minimalism meets Japanese craftsmanship. The tea cup's timeless silhouette is based on original sketches by ceramicist Richard Manz and was brought to life by his daughter, designer Cecilie Manz, in collaboration with 1616 / arita japan. Each ceramic cup is crafted in Arita, Japan’s historic porcelain capital, with deep respect for ancient ceramic traditions.

Available in a range of refined shades, the Manz cup holds 250ml and is perfect for coffee, tea, or any hot beverage. The glazed teacup is equally suited to festive table settings and everyday rituals.

Richard Manz

Danish ceramicist Richard Manz (1925–1999) is celebrated for his understated, nature-inspired ceramic pieces. He created several enduring classics working from his own studio on the island of Sjælland. His work is defined by clean lines, muted tones and a Nordic sense of calm, making his ceramics timeless objects for everyday living. His daughter is designer Cecilie Manz.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.
